Mellat Oil Services is a subsidiary of Mellat Group that was established due to the market needs of oil services in Kurdistan Region and the vast expansion in developing several oil fields in the region which created an urgent demand for the completion of this vital sector that helps the enhancement of the region economy that is proving currently.

Mellat Oil has participated in purchasing an amount of 120,000 MT of the fuel oil to supply cement and steel factories in addition to the exportation process that is getting more progress and the newly established oil company succeeded in experiencing new horizons on the international level, and locally as well.

Mellat Oil is seeking for partners in the field of refinery industry that is witnessing wide expansion and there is the ambition to establish huge refineries in partnership with foreign investors to complete the work of the present foreign companies working in exploration and digging and their role comes to develop the present wells. Also, Mellat Oil seeking for any bid that these foreign issues to implement their requirements if they are within its scope of work or it would require inviting of the specialized companies in this aspect through the joint ventures that Mellat Oil signed with the well known oil companies.

Mellat Oil has established 5 small refineries (Cap. 200 b/d) which can get benefit from the fuel oil that can be used as fuel in several local factories; such as cement and steel factories in the region.
